I had worked for large companies in the past, so I was somewhat sceptical as to what working with a start-up entailed. But I can say it’s been great to join a new venture where you feel valued immediately and are able to really see the impact you have on clients and candidates alike. Being given autonomy to manage processes from start to finish has also enabled me to grow leaps and bounds. We are also able to work where we choose globally, which literally means anywhere in the world I desire – providing I have internet and phone signal, of course! This type of flexibility and trust is something which is unparalleled to any business I’ve previously worked for.
